The HubPages Graduate Scholarship Program (Being Developed)

Some of the money generated through this effort - through this website- will be converted into scholarship programs to help graduated hub page authors who have reached seasoned levels in the program (I will lay details out later, this is just some insider information of coming events in this site’s infrastructure and programs, but qualifications will look something like this:  Must have: 100 quality hubs, generating $2000 or more in Adsense revenue, and a fan base of at least 200) will be given or rather will have memberships for certain resources like Super Apprentice (100.00 a month), paid for(probably for 6 months each scholarship), for them to use in their marketing efforts and so forth to jumpstart a higher paying ride through this realm.

I’m still working out this program but it’s going to be spectacular and worth more than 1,000.00 per scholarship. How many scholarships will be available will be determined on how much this site makes in affiliate revenue. The best part is that this is determined by both sign-ups from new authors using links on this page (giving us credit for their signing up to HubPages, as well as old Hubbers building new accounts from a link on this site) and the income derived from the affiliate income on those authors hubs.

For example, and if your not yet a HubPages author this will give you some insight into another way to generate money on the site. When you click a link on this page and sign up we get credit for signing you up. This means we get 20% of HUBPAGES not yours, page views. This means of 10 times your page loads with adsense code on it your adsense code loads 6 times, for HubPages their code loads 4.

For affiliates we get 2 of those page views from all of your future hubs. This means the more hubs you create, the more traffic they generate the more potential affiliate income we can earn from you (without affecting your income whatsoever). This means we will essentially benefit greatly from making sure you become very productive and start earning a lot building a lot of hubs and so on.

The beauty of this scholarship program is it motivates you to build 100 hubs, monetize them and get them earning YOU money, as your hubs start to take off more opportunities for us to hit a few page views and generate more money come and thus our income as well as what we put into the scholarship fund increases. In the end I will be contributing probably 20% of all revenue on the site from affiliate sign-ups/affiliate income will go to the scholarship fund. So your success not only can earn you a scholarship, it can help others to earn one too! It’s a self perpetuating system!

The idea is some of the money generated from within this sites sign up affiliate income will be recycled and given to people whom have reached a certain level of success with their hub account to continue to earn more. As I’m working on a dozen other income streams I may eventually just convert this entire site’s revenue into programs like this one, but since I’m still in the poor house- let’s not get too hasty.. for now the one is good enough  *smiles*.

The other idea here is to give you motivation to reach those heights and to help those whom have proven they are willing to put in the work, to reach the next level of income potential. So any time you click a link on this site to check out a hub and sign up putting you under us as a sign up, any time you click a sign up link, for HubPages becoming a new author, or any time you click through one of our links then set up a second account as suggested below, you will be helping to fund that effort. (please clear your cookies if your siging up a second HP account). In this next part we'll go into starting with a fresh HubPages account for perspective (applying new principals to an old account works fine but this may help you get your head around the concepts more clearly if you start fresh and apply them to new hubs.)

This program is still in planning stages but there is a preview of what I'm thinking it will be about, and how it will be funded by hubbers!
